Recently, Guangzhou Zeer Electro-mechanical Technology Co., Ltd. deepened its strategic cooperation with Germany's KWD AG, and Zeer Electromechanical officially obtained the exclusive agency rights for KWD industrial coupling products in China. This cooperation marks a further expansion of the long-term cooperation between the two parties in the field of rail transit, and a joint effort to build a more efficient and comprehensive local service and supply system. 

KWD, a German company founded in 1887 and headquartered in Dresden, Germany, is a professional coupling manufacturing enterprise with over a hundred years of history. It is also a core supplier of Class Q1 for Deutsche Bahn. KWD has multiple core technologies in the power transmission system of rail transit, and its products are widely used in high-speed trains, subways, trams, gear rail cars, and electric locomotives. It is currently the only manufacturer in Europe that can provide couplings for all rail transit models. 

Since its establishment, Guangzhou Zeer Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. has always focused on electrical and mechanical interface solutions for rail transit systems. With a deep understanding of industry needs and technical service capabilities, as early as 2015, it jointly established Kaweidi Coupling (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. with KWD Company, focusing on advanced repair (frame, overhaul), local assembly, and after-sales service of KWD rail transit couplings. Provided with technical training and quality supervision by the German headquarters, the Changzhou platform has now become a key service center for KWD products in China.

The exclusive agency authorization for the industrial coupling product line this time marks KWD's further recognition of Zeer's product understanding, market expansion, and technical service capabilities, and is also an important manifestation of the deepening cooperation between the two parties.

KWD Industrial Couplings provide comprehensive coupling solutions covering industries to rail transit, with a full range of products from elastic couplings to hydraulic couplings, widely suitable for high torque, high-speed, and different types of drive systems:

1. Torsional stiff/Bending flexible coupling

EZK: Plum blossom elastic coupling, supports axial/radial/angular compensation, has good vibration reduction performance, can be blind installed, and is suitable for environments ranging from -30 ° C to+80 ° C

ELKU/ELKU-N: H-type elastic block coupling, available with brake disc or spacer options, torque range 25-100000Nm

BOKU/BOKU-N: Elastic column pin coupling, supporting up to 1000000Nm of torque, suitable for heavy-duty conditions

2. High elasticity coupling and high elasticity clutch

HEK/HESK series: highly isolated, supports large installation deviation environments, torque range of 1000-16000Nm, optional pneumatic control structure

3. Twisted rigid bending flexible coupling

MEM series: zero backlash design, maintenance free, suitable for high-speed and high torque applications (100-100000Nm), compliant with API 671 standard, widely used in rail traction, turbine, generator and other systems

GMK series: All metal structure, no backlash, combining high stiffness and flexible compensation, suitable for axial and angular displacement (DE type supports radial displacement). Temperature can reach 250 ° C; maintenance free, fatigue resistant, suitable for harsh industrial environments

4. Gear couplings and universal shaft gear couplings

ZAKU series gear coupling: supports vertical/horizontal installation, high compensation capability and smooth operation characteristics, with a wide torque range (250-125000Nm)

ZKGW universal shaft gear coupling: integrated universal shaft design, supports ± 14 ° angular error, high-power transmission, suitable for long wheelbase and constant velocity requirements systems

5. Hydraulic coupling

TK-N series: capable of buffering start-up shock and reducing vibration, delivering a maximum power of 1750kW, suitable for multi motor groups and high inertia mechanical start-up systems, with multiple selection modes (AVZ, GMK hybrid design)

6. Clutch and Brake

FDLB / LB、 Multi plate clutch and brake system: Suitable for industrial safe starting, overload protection, and wet/dry coupling requirements, with a torque range of 16-1500000 Nm.

LASI/LAAN series: Special safety/starting clutch design, fast response speed, optional electrical/pneumatic drive solution
